Thailand has been very successful at containing the Covid-19 virus and is not going to lift travel restrictions any time soon, therefore our Bangkok Training Center remains closed and we continue to provide our training online as Virtual Online Training, and as Online Tutor Assisted Training.

Seaway Academy’s STCW / IMO - Online Training courses are approved by the following Flag-State Administrations: Liberia, Marshall Islands, and Vanuatu - as Virtual Online Training and Online (tutor assisted) eLearning. Our certificates are also being accepted by Panama for transfer to Panamanian Certification.

During the current travel restrictions these online approved courses present a unique opportunity to update, or stay current with your certification without the added expense of travel. We have trained many students online over the past five months since travel restrictions began, and it has been very encouraging to hear our online training has been well accepted by all students.

Certificates issued are the same Flag-State approved certificates as issued when attending training at our Bangkok, Training Center.
